If you’re new to sewing, making a drawstring bag is a simple and satisfying project to start with. With straightforward instructions on hand, you can quickly learn how to construct one, resulting in a finished product that you can be proud of!

- two rectangles of fabric for the body of the bag (mine are 14in x 12) (36cm x 30cm)
- two rectangles of fabric for the drawstring casing (mine are 3.5 x 12) (8cm x 30cm))
- two lengths of ribbon double the width of your bag (mine are 28 inches or 64cm long)

The Esther is a romantic, bohemian inspired dress with a lower back cut-out, bow that can be tied in the front or the back, it also comes with a option back panel.
The bodice is fully lined View one closes with a beautiful bow at the back and features a pleated bodice. View two is a knee length, sleeveless dress without pleats. Both views have the optional back modesty panel.
The skirt is elasticated at the back and you can make the lower back more or less exposed by using a longer or shorter length of elastic.
Make your Esther in a light weight cotton for a more structured look and a fuller bow, or create a softer flowy summer dress in a rayon or crepe fabric.
